On October 28th, 2010, Vancouver nightlife scene lost one of its greatest contributors and most well liked and respected personalities. Seemingly without warning, and with stunning speed, Shaun was diagnosed with, and lost a battle to, an extremely rare form of cancer called Angiosarcoma. Anyone lucky enough to have interacted with Shaun Gauthier would agree that his bottomless positivity and charismatic demeanor with be forever missed and never forgotten.
On December 14th, a Massive event is being held at The Commodore Ballroom in his honor, with 100% of proceeds going to the newly formed ‘Shaun G Foundation’, A Vancouver movement to fight cancer that reflects the way Shaun lived his remarkable life. Us in the Tito Deville Band are honored to donate a set to such a worthy cause, and will be performing alongside a host of Vancouver artists including The Rascalz, Dirty Radio, Cin Injeti, kyprios, Andres, Boombox Saints, Mass Undergoe, Bullets over beauty, Destineak and More. The event will also feature djs: Flipout, Physik, The Goodfellas, Stimulant J, and Eric Carver, to name a few.
Needless to say this event should be pretty unforgettable, and its for a very, very worthy cause. So get in the giving spirit, show some support, and come raise your glass with us in toast to the enduring legacy of Shaun G. More Info/links below.
